The Steelmen travelled to the Faroe Islands with a two-goal advantage from the first leg, but knew the tie wasn't over. With a place in the third qualifying round at stake, Alfred's Johansson's side wanted a stress-free night against European regulars Havnar Bóltfelag. Over 100 Motherwell fans made the trip, and witness a professional Motherwell display with Lukas Fadinger, Regan Charles-Cook and Dylan Williams all scoring. More goals could have been scored but securing the club's first win inside 90 minutes in an away European match for 16 years, the MFC squad have started the 26/27 season on the right foot.
