Premiership status was secured last week, but Motherwell travelled to Edinburgh looking to close the season out strongly. Callum Slattery quickly responded finding the back of the net, but VAR controversy followed, with the referee ruling the goal out for offside. Shankland added a second, with Alan Forrest quickly following up with a third in the second half, putting the game beyond the Steelmen. Motherwell are in midweek action against Kilmarnock on Wednesday night, as they look to go out on a positive note in front of the home crowd.
