It was all drama in Paisley on Sunday afternoon as Motherwell travelled to St Mirren. Some would think there could have been a European hangover due to the Steelmen's UEFA Conference League exit on Thursday, but those claims were dashed inside two minutes when Tawanda Maswanhise scored his first league goal of the season. The fast start continued. Maswanhise would miss a penalty kick before Regan Charles-Cook doubled Motherwell's lead and put them in the driving seat. But St Mirren showed their class, scoring three goals in nine minutes to swing the game entirely. Alex Paulsen had to keep his side in the game with a number of excellent saves. And then, Jardell Kanga came on for his debut, and the rest is history.
