Manager Jens Berthel Askou congratulated Scotland on qualifying for the World Cup ahead of his country Denmark, with the Motherwell manager now putting his focus back on club football. Askou has been pleased with the work his players have put in during the break at Fir Park, but has also been encouraged with the success of the international players as the full squad will be needed going into the winter period.
